In a few days I'll be starting a series of shoots with Rachael Alexandra Zlotow [RAZ], whom I graduated Highschool with. We're both extremely excited, but she's also got a few of her own passions, one of which is fasion design. I'm dropping you guys a little preview of her and also one of her illustrations, which I personally think is wonderfully done.
Dennis Bohman, whom I met on Twitter (follow me on the right) shared his blog with me (Hamtoast.com). A couple posts back I noticed a REALLY close macro shot of a ladybug. Apparently, you can reverse your lens and get an extreme macro.
During spring semester at Lawrence Tech University, I purchased a Wacom Bamboo tablet for around 50$. Best. Investment. Ever. Here are some tests in photoshop and some of my final renderings for my spring semester design studio project.
North Manitou Island backpacking trip! 4 days roughing it, messed up my back, borrowed a 10mp point and shoot, did pretty well. I'll upload more from the trip later on.
I ordered a new camera yesterday, after hours and hours of researching. I settled on the Samsung NV7 OPS. My cousin bought one, and I borrowed it to try it out. It's only 7.2MP, but it has all the features I want. I took a few pictures with the borrowed camera, such as this one, of a 5 yen coin that I found at my high school. I have no idea how the coin ended up there!
Anyways, I should have my new camera by the middle of this week.
More test photos to come.
Hopefully the purchase of this camera will catalyze my venture into photography.
